Complementary feed making competition

On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week the Department of Home Science organized a competition of complimentary feed for infant’s upto one year of age and protein rich snacks for toddlers on 3^rd August 2020. Students of B.Sc (H) H.Sc sem V  and M.sc (Foods and Nutrition ) sem I and sem III participated in the competition. The participants prepared various  healthy recipes for infants and toddlers. The recipes were evaluated by panel of two judges Dr. Swati Vyas, Associate Professor and Dr. Nalini Totuka, Sr. Assistant Professor and Additional Head. Ms. Isheeta Sharma and  Ms. Priyanka Singh bagged first and second position  and third position was bagged by two students Ms.Arshiya Sheikh  and Ms. Akshita Kumawat in complimentary feed category . Ms Tanya Bhardwaj and Ms. Kriti Jain stood first and second lastly Ms. Aarti Mali bagged third  position respectively in protein rich snack preparation . All the students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm . Above all the activity was found to be very fruitful for the students.
