HEALTH IS WEALTH. In today’s world of gadgets and gizmos one hardly finds time to exercise and workout. To enhance to wellness and wellbeing of every student Department of Home Science organised a 1 day workshop on Health and Wellness. It was jointly structured by Dr. Nimali Singh and Mr. Ram Chandra who is the owner of Rhythm Health and Wellness Pvt. Ltd. He is a fitness expert from America and has a excellent command over his subject. nThe session started with a lecture on diet and exercise by Dr. Nimali where she in detailed explain the role of nutrients and diet especially balanced diet in our day to day life and then the importance of exercise and daily workout.

This was preceded by Mr. Ram’s lecture on exercise and different forms of workout. He later on demonstrated many stretching exercises, workouts that could be done with the help of simple furniture around. He took a warming up session of all the students and demonstrated many simple exercises. It was an interactive session and many queries of the students as well as the faculty nmembers were sought out.
