Human Nutrition-Practical

(Practical)

CO219: Using factorial approach students will synthesize information to estimate total energy and protein requirements for diverse ages, physiological conditions and physical activity levels. Evaluate protein quality and synthesise ways to improve it.

CO220: protein quality- Using data on iron turnover, absorption and utilization student will synthesize information to calculate iron needs and analyse dietary intake data to determine total fat and fibre consumption

CO221: Compile comprehensive practical records having data analysis related to macro and micronutrients and cultivate verbal communication skills to converse effectively with examiners.

CO222: Student will  Contribute effectively in course specific interaction

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Power Point Presentations, Informative videos, group discussion

Learning activities for the students:

Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentations, Field trips

Quiz, Poster Presentations,
