Objective: 

This course will enable the student to:

  • Plan and prepare diets for patients suffering from various diseases covered in theory.

Content:

 Planning & preparation of diets in the following diseases

1.  Diabetes Mellitus (with Obesity/Hypertension/Hyperlipidemia)

2.  Renal Diseases - Glomerulonephritis, Nephrotic Syndrome, chronic Renal Failur

3.  Osteoporosis

4.  Gout

6.  Observation of a Dietetics unit in a hospital
