Celebration of National Girl Child Day

The students of the Department of Home Science at IIS (Deemed to be University) organized a Nukkad Natak on Girl Child Education to mark the celebration of National Girl Child Day on January 24, 2025. The event aimed to spread awareness about the importance of education for girls and the challenges they face in society.

A total of eight students of B.A/B.Sc Elective (EFE), sem II participated in the performance, skillfully depicting the struggles and barriers that hinder girls' access to education. Through powerful dialogues and expressive enactments, the play emphasized the need for equal educational opportunities and the role of society in supporting the empowerment of girls.

The performance successfully sensitized the attendees, leaving a lasting impact and reinforcing the importance of education as a fundamental right for every girl.
