WORKSHOP ON PEANUT BUTTER
Faculty from Department of Home Science attended a Workshop on Peanut butter organised in collaboration with Indian Dietetic Association on 26 January 2016. The workshop was conducted by sun feast company in order to create awareness regarding health benefits of peanut butter among individuals involved in health sector particularly dieticians, nutritionist and academicians. Peanut butter is comparatively low cost product and has number of health benefits particularly for growing children as its protein quality is also good and consuming it ensures proper growth and development among children, adolescents and it also acts as a source of good quality fat for adults. After completion of workshop hi tea was served to all participants and a gift hamper was presented to everybody.
