VISIT REPORT OF ANGANWADI, SANGANER ON INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY

On 26 October, 1966, the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) gathered for the 14th general conference and proclaimed that September 8 will be celebrated as International Literacy Day. The students of MSc HSc (Human Development)Sem III and COSD student of ECCE visited Anganwadi, Kalyanpura, Sanganer,Jaipur for the distribution of teaching material to Anganwadi supervisor, Ms. ManjuSanju.

 The indiginous learning material was prepared by the students for the overall development of the child.

The teaching material was prepared on the concept teaching and on different aspects of development.

Cognitive,social,language and motor development were kept in mind while preparing the aid. Aids like

rhyme, counting, season concept ,solar system, seed germination etc was given to Manju Mehta Ji  for the learning of anganwadi children. Anganwadi caters the children from 2 years to 8 years.

thThe children of anganwadi participated with enthusiasm in the activities. On the occasion of literacy day, we also distributed the bag with one copy, pencil, sharpner, eraser and one packet of biscuit to around 30 children. The activity went off well and children enjoyed and were happy to get stuff.
