LOTUS DAIRY is aiming to market all kinds of world class dairy products to ever increasing potential customers of Rajasthan primarily, through its chain of outlets. Currently, it markets milk in poly-pack, cow and buffalo milk in bulk, Ghee, Dahi, Chhach, Lassi and flavored milk in suitable consumer packs under brand name LOTUS. For marketing these products the company is in the process of creating a network of shop agencies, Lotus Shoppe’, Lotus Star shoppe’, Lotus Parlors and Exclusive brand shops in Rajasthan.
We have visited the raw milk collection centre, pasteurization unit, packaging unit, setting of milk for curd, its packaging, paneer, ghee, flavoured milk processing and there packaging. As soon as the milk is collected it is tested for fat content and on that basis the payment for milk is being made to the vendors. We have also visited the quality control laboratory. They test fat content and sodium content on daily basis. Iodine number and RM value of milk is also tested on daily basis.
Mr C.P.Mittal, Mr Khanna, Mr M K Agarwal, Mr Ashish Gogia and Mr Naveen Jain have spared their time in making the students understand the processing of milk, its cycle from milch animal to consumer after processing and the microbial quality of fresh and processed milk and its products.
The hospitality offered by the entire team will always be in our remembrance.
