INDUCTION MEETING

Held at International College for Girls, Jaipur (IGNOU PSC 2353)

On 11th September, 2016 at 11.00 am 

 

An Induction meeting was organized at the International College for Girls, Jaipur, PSC 2353, IGNOU, on 11th September 2016 for the learners enrolled in different IGNOU programmes, viz. CFN, CNCC, DNHE, DECE, PGCFT, M.Sc CFT, M.Sc DFSM, MAWGS and MAPC for the session July 2016. The number of new learners enrolled at the centre is 178 out of which about 85 attended the Induction meeting. The meeting started with a welcome note by Programme Incharge Dr. Ila Joshi, PSC 2353. She briefed the learners about various programmes  being offered at the center, their counseling schedule, duration of completion of programmes, evaluation scheme, date for submission of examination forms and assignments and the working hours of the centre. She also introduced the academic counsellors and the part time staff, IGNOU to the new learners. Dr. Indu Ravi, Assistant Regional Director, Regional Centre, IGNOU, Jaipur addressed the new learners and briefed them about the University, its accomplishments, various programmes offered, IGNOU website, etc. She also answered the queries raised by the learners. The meeting concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Ila Joshi Programme Incharge, PSC 2353.

After the Induction meeting, the part time staff members distributed the Identity cards and counseling schedules to the learners. They also updated the residential address, email address and phone number of the learners. Refreshments were arranged for the learners, counsellors and part time staff.
