Quiz on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week

The Department of Home Science, IIS University organized a quiz on 17^th August 2023 on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week (1^st – 7^th August) in the IIS University Campus for the undergraduate and postgraduate students of Home Science department.

In the Quiz 5 different teams namely Belly Dumpers, Pulse Setters, The Hoofbeats, The Healers and Health Horse with 3 students in each team participated with great enthusiasm. Rules and Regulations of the quiz were explained at the beginning. It was interesting three-round competition, including rapid – fire round, objective questions with options round and full forms round namely Fast & Furious,Manifest and Final Destination respectively, which engaged the students for one hour. There were 15 questions each in Round 1 & 2 and 10 questions in Round 3 in which Top 3 teams with the highest scores in the Round 1 qualified to the next round and then Top 2 teams gave tough battle to each other in the last Final Destination round.

The students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. Though some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence. Although the teams participated actively, the team that scored the most was The Hoofbeats, followed by The Healers and the runner team was Belly Dumpers. It was very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience.
