On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the School of Home Science at IIS University organized an initiative under the theme “Stronger Her, Healthier Future” to promote women’s well-being and raise awareness about health and self-care. Informative and inspiring bookmarks featuring essential tips on fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness were distributed among the Registrar, Vice-Chancellor, Deans, Heads of Departments (HODs), and faculty members. This initiative aimed to empower women with the knowledge to prioritize their health, embrace a balanced lifestyle, and enhance their overall well-being. The bookmarks served as daily reminders of key wellness practices, covering aspects such as physical fitness, balanced nutrition, and stress management. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with recipients appreciating the thoughtful effort and recognizing its importance in fostering a culture of health consciousness. Moving forward, expanding the initiative to students, non-teaching staff, and digital platforms, along with organizing interactive wellness sessions, would further strengthen the impact of this meaningful endeavor.
