● Learn to use APA referencing style to cite information from books, edited books, journals, websites, reports, magazines, newspapers, theses, and other sources.
● Develop a scientific document encompassing textual content, tables, figures, and images on a chosen topic. Incorporate in-text citations and references based on the latest edition of APA referencing guidelines.
● Learn about various Reference Management Software Guides
● Write a short communication on the given topic for a selected journal.
● Write a review article on a topic citing secondary data for a selected journal.
● Prepare a powerpoint presentation on a topic of general interest and present it in the class.
● Critically review various aspects of a research article such as title, authors, their affiliation, abstract, introduction, methodology, results, discussions, conclusion, acknowledgements, references, language, clarity and organization, ethical consideration, and originality and contribution to the field. Prepare and present the review report in the class using power point presentation.
● Compose a brief abstract derived from a research article.
● Draft the informed consent form.
