COCT:19 Develop paper drafts and construction of basic bodice block, skirt, trouser and garment components using drafting

COCT:20 Design and Develop various patterns using flat pattern techniques

COCT:21Compile comprehensive practical record having paper patterns, dart manipulation and construction samples of child and adult garments and garment components and cultivate communication skills to converse effectively with examiners

  2.    Introduction to flat pattern making                            (30 Hours)

  • Principles & Rules of Pattern development
  • Dart Manipulation Methods: Slash & Spread, Pivot method- Adaptation of basic block sloper to Single dart series, two dart series, Cluster of darts & dart equivalents, Graduating & Radiating darts, Parallel darts, Asymmetrical darts & Style line variation.
