Objective: 
This course will enable the students to :
1. Apply various tests to measure the capabilities of an individual.
2. Understand the techniques and solutions for improvement of handicap condition.
3. Understand the societal attitude towards handicap.

Student will be able to –

COHD 141: Construct specific teaching guidelines and aids to meet the needs of each child with physical disabilities.

COHD 142: Understand and plan case study to clearly identify the disability.

COHD 143: Gain an understanding on importance of inclusive education in schools.

COHD 144: Develop the skills of preparing the  educational/informative material regarding various disabilities.

COHD 145:Describe the infrastructure, management and working of institutions dealing with disabilities.

COHD 146: Understand the RTE (2009) quota of special children and able to conduct the case study.

COHD 147: Discuss on the importance of inclusive education.

 

Approaches in Teaching:  Interactive Lectures, Mock Activity, Power Point Presentation, Discussion with lectures.

Quiz. PPT, Group projects, assignments, CA test , Semester End Examination.
