The students will be able to –

 

CO82:Examine the chemical composition of fiber

 

CO83:Analyze various yarn identification methods and different types of yarns

 

CO84:Apply various fabric manufacturing techniques to create weaving samples

 

CO85: Develop understanding of fiber  identification and testing parameters of textiles

  • Yarn Identification–Single, ply, cord, textured, elastic, monofilament,    multifilament and spun yarn                                              10 hrs

& preparation of weaves sample on paper & loom
