This course will enable the students

  • To create awareness of design and its interpretation.
  • To familiarize the students with the elements and principles of design.
  • To foster appreciation of traditional textiles of India

  • Punjab-Phulkari.
  • Uttar Pradesh-Chikankari
  • Karnataka-Kasuti.
  • West Bengal-Kantha.
  • Rajasthan –gotta patti
  • Tie & Dye
  • Block Printing
  • Batik

  • Visit to craft centers and museum
