Objective: 

This course shall enable the student:

·        To develop low cost recipes-weaning foods for infants and supplementary foods for all ages.

Identification of the problem, planning and implementation of several community based projects

Course Outcomes: 

CO45: Planning and implementation of public health nutrition programmes.

CO46: Develop skills in Assessing the Nutritional Status and formulate low cost recipes for vulnerable section

CO47: Compile comphrensive practical records having data analysis related to macro and micronutrients and cultivate verbal communication skills to converse effectively with examiners.

CO48: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction

·        Identifying, Planning and conducting nutrition education programmes for community using different extension methods and audio visual aids.

·        Development of skills in conducting dietary, anthropometry and clinical assessment of various age groups.

Development of low cost nutritional recipes suitable for various vulnerable sections
