SENIOR CITIZEN FORUM, DAY CARE CENTRE
The students of MSc HSc (HD) Sem IV visited old age day care centre,SFS Agarwal Farm, Mansarovar, Jaipur with Dr. NaliniTotuka on to observe the facilities given to the elderly people.
Day Care Centre is running from February 1998 in which entertainment & recreational facilities like Carom, Playing cards, Chess & Daily News Papers, Magazines are being provided to the senior citizens above 60 years of age. On an average 45-50 senior citizens are enjoying this facility.Medical facilities are also provided through part time doctor. Tours are also conducted for the members of the Day Care Centre. The centre is being run from the grant-in-aid received from Govt. of India. This is a sort of club for Sr. citizens who attend Day Care Centre from 01:00PM to 06:00PM. They are provided refreshment during these hours
On 7th October 2017,Students of MSc HSc (HD) Sem IV organized a recreational activity in the old age home. They have planned parcel game for them. Various themes was given to elders like sing a song, memorable event, most lovable person etc.
The students have also prepared board game like: Carrom,Ludo and Snakes and Ladder for the elderly people. The elders enjoyed the activity and requested the students to visit again.
