guest lecture by Dr Prithvi Raj, Director, ICDS
In continuation with National Nutrition Week celebration, the department has organized a guest lecture on the topic “Prevalence of Malnutrition in Rajasthan” on 3rd September 2014 from 03:00 pm onwards in AV Hall. The Speaker was Dr Prithvi Raj, Director ICDS, Jaipur. He has talked about the causes leading to malnutrition. The supplementary feeding programmes run by the government to combat it, supplementary medicines being given to vulnerable sections of the society, the other heath check up schemes being run by the govt. and many others efforts taken by the govt. All the students have actively participated by clarifying their doubts related to malnutrition and schemes efforts taken by the govt. Overall it was a fruitful lecture.
