Diwali Dhamaka

The Department of Home Science, IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur organized Diwali Dhamaka, to celebrate the festival of lights. The celebration included two competitions for the students of the department- Healthy sweets making competition and Diya decoration competition.

There were 13 entries for healthy dessert making and 19 entries diya decoration competition. Students were given time to prepare the recipes and diyas, before their display and judgement. The judges for Healthy sweets making competition were Prof. Radha Kashyap and Dr. Nalini Totuka. Judge for diya decoration was Dr. Shwet Goyal. Special invitees for the competition were Hon. Dr. Ashok Gupta Sir, Chancellor, Dr. T. N. Mathur Sir, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Raakhi Gupta Ma’am, Registrar, Dr. K.S. Sharma Sir and Deans.

Students participated with full enthusiasm and everyone had a great time tasting the healthy delicacies and admiring the beautifully decorated diyas.
