Activity: Styles of Sari Draping

The Department of Home Science organized an activity on “Styles of  Saree Draping” for all the students of Home Science ( II,IV and VI Sem) by the resource person Ms. Neelam Sharma, Ph.D scholar from The IIS Unoiversity. 

The resource person started the activity by briefing the students about the importance of Sari draping. During the activity different styles of sari draping were taught to the students by draping the sari on dress forms. She showed how one can carry sari with pants, different types of top, along with different accessories like belts to make the look more contemporary. And then the students potentially participated in the activity and reproduced those styles by draping the sari on dress form.
