Fancy Dress Competition

Scholastic and co-scholastic activities have an equal importance in school programme for the all-round development of the child. Keeping this in view, as a part of Children’s Day Celebration week, a Fancy dress competition was organized in Haziawala Government primary school on 10^th of November 2022. 7 students of B.Sc.  (H) Home Science, sem  III and V , and 7 students of M Sc. H. Sc. (Human Development), Sem I & III coordinated the activity.

The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun and culture but also to develop confidence in the students. Students displayed their talents by dressing up as vegetable vendor, traditional Rajasthan look, fancy dress made up from old newspaper, South Indian dressing etc. and did act on the stage like the person they were dressed as

Children of the school were informed one week before about the activity. Overall, there were 23 participants from the government scool whose talent and dedication made this event successful. The effort and hard work of children and parents were highly commendable. The competition proved to be great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their creativity and imagination.  At the end First, second and third prize was distributed.
