“Senior Citizen Forum

Purpose of visit : 1. To make students understand about the characteristics and problems of old age. 2. To make students understand the method of working with old age. Summary : - A Short visit to Senior Citizen Forum : A day care center for old people (S.F.S. Mansarovar, Jaipur), was conducted on 7th September 2019, by the students of M.Sc. (H.Sc.) – H.D. III Sem as a part of their course MHD 325 – LSD III – Adulthood and Ageing (Practical). Senior Citizen Forum, is an institution working for senior citizen of the local community.

It is an institution working for senior citizen’s of the local community, where aged people come for few hours to spend time with each other and to be a part of various activities organized by the institution.

The center has rooms for indoor games like tabletennis, carom etc. It also has a common hall to conduct meetings and re-creational activities for a large gathering.

The Students of M.Sc. H.Sc. (H.D.) Planned some recreational activities and games like Tic-Tac-Toe, Picture Sequencing and Musical games. They conducted these activities with the people aged between 65 Years to 80 Years. All senior citizens took part in the activities with full enthusiasm and enjoyed a lot all the games. The student’s interaction with these people came to be very fruitful and informative.
