1. Basic knowledge of acid base titration, complex-metric titration and precipitation titration.
2. Qualitative estimation of carbohydrates and amino acids.

The students will be able to –
CO188: develop the analytical skills to carry out different types of volumetric analysis like estimation of hardness of water, calcium content in chalk, alkali content in antacid tablet etc. CO189: demonstrate and document volumetric titrations with precision and accuracy CO190: determine carbohydrates and amino acids qualitatively and prepare their suitable derivatives. CO191: Develop conceptual understanding about the sensitivity of different measuring instruments and repairing of electric iron and fuse. CO192: Acquire skill to determine characteristics of transistor, Focal length of a convex lens and refractive index of a liquid. CO193: Knowledge about various sources of electricity, light and spectrum . |
