The course will enable the student to-

  • draw information regarding some of the major practices of different curriculum in children’s institutions.gain information about entrepreneurship in ECE

Setting up and running the ECE centre

  • Physical facilities
  1. Location and building.
  2. Furniture, equipment and materials.
  3. Indoor and outdoor spaces.

Qualification of supervisor, teacher/day-care worker, supportive staff/helpers.

Experts, consultants, resource persons needed for ECE programme.

Records and registers.

Management of resources

  1. Finance: Need and methods of generating funds, budgeting, savings and investment.
  2. Time: Proper utilization with reference to children, programme, institution and referral and support services.

Identifying, maintaining liaison, collaborating

Supervisory procedures.

Quality control: Internal and external evaluations.

Team analysis for identifying strength.
