Objective: 

This course will enable the students to-
•    Plan diet for an individual at different age, under different physiological conditions and different diseases.
 

Contents:
1.    Use of exchange list.
2.    Standardization of dishes.
3.    Planning and preparing nutrient rich dishes.
4.    Planning, preparation and serving of meals for preschool child, school age child, adolescent, adult, old age person, pregnant lady and lactating mother.
5.    Planning, preparation and serving of meals for patients suffering from diarrhea, constipation, Peptic Ulcer  hepatitis, overweight, underweight, typhoid and tuberculosis
6.    Planning and preparation of nutrient dense snack / beverage.
