Objective: 

Course Objectives (COs):

This course will enable the students to –

  1. Create awareness of embroidered, dyed and printed textile heritage of India.
  2. Initiate identification of regional embroideries developed by various communities.
  3. Learn about the evolution of various textiles over a period of time.

Indian Textile Heritage

(Practical)

 

 

 

 

The students will be able to -

CLO285: Develop skills of motifs and design identification and preparation of embroideries.

CLO286: Recognize and create the design effects in textile masterpieces of the world.

CLO287: Rejuvenate traditional textiles through unique sample preparation and explore various crafts of India.
