Objective: 
This course will enable the students to :
1. Administer various tests to measure the capabilities of an individual.
2. Get exposure to the techniques and solutions for improvement of handicap condition.
3. Understand the societal attitude towards handicap.

1. Visit to  local training, educational and rehabilitation institutions- Preparing a blue print.
Assessment of management

2. Applying technology and tools for the assessment of disability.
3. To study remedial measures for disabled and gifted.
4. Case profile and report of various handicaps-  observation of behavioral characteristic of disabled children.  
 
5. Planning and Preparation of teaching aids for the child with special needs in accord with activity. 
6. Survey of the attitude of society ( neighbourhood, parents, school, peers) towards children with special needs
7. Counseling of children / parents/ siblings with handicaps.
8. Preparing a project proposal for special need.
9. Visit to institution dealing with psychological and psychiatric problems to study basic childhood/ adolescence/ adulthood problems- preparing details of infrastructure, medical facilities etc
10. Prepare a case profile,causes and symptoms of diseases.
11. Planning counseling session with the family of the client.
12. Preparing educational/informational material regarding various psychological problems.
