CO189: Compile comprehensive practical record having design sheets of apparel/home textiles using designing and editing software and cultivate verbal communication skills to converse effectively with examiners

Application of Designing Software                      (15 Hours)

  • Motifs
  • Prints & Layouts
  • Colour & Colour Schemes
  • Basic outfit with necklines, collars and sleeves
  • Techniques to create different outfits like skirts & tops, gowns, bottoms
  • Silhouettes & Fashion details
  • Fashion Accessories

Application of Editing Software                           (30 Hours)

  • Introduction to the digital portfolio: research on inspiration, thought process of themes
  • Board development (inspiration board, theme board and colour board)
  • Development of motifs on the based on the theme
  • Create effects on motifs like texture, shading
  • Develop repeat patterns using swatches and print presentations using motifs
  • Designing of an Apparel and Home Textiles Product (one each)
