The Department of Home Science, IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur has organized a two day National conference on 13th and 14th March 2020, on ‘Advances in Food Science, Processing and Technology’ sponsored by ICSSR, New Delhi. The aim of the conference was to . highlight the latest trends in food science and processing and the importance of food safety as a shared responsibility of the government, retailers and consumers. The main focus of the conference was to provide a forum or platform for discussions on emerging ideas and technical know –how in the field of food science, processing as well as safety standards towards meeting the need of a growing population.
