Objective: 

This course will enable the students:

  1. To utilize food science, nutrition, and ingredient functionality in formulating new food products.
  2. To enable students to develop and modify food products using standard procedures and innovative approaches.
  3. To create practical skills in designing product labels in accordance with FSSAI and international regulations.
  4. To familiarize students with various types of food packaging materials and machinery.
  5. To provide experience in product testing such as texture, color, shelf-life, and microbial safety.
