Course Objectives:

This course will enable the students to –

 

  1. Understand the role of nutrition in different stages of life span
  2. .Provide the guidelines for adequate nutrition throughout life span
  3. Get acquainted with growth, development and physiological changes during pregnancy, lactation and infancy

The students will be able to –

 

COFN10: Acquire knowledge about the nutritional needs and concerns of an individual throughout the life cycle.

 

COFN11: Exercise food choices consonant with good health based on sound knowledge of principles of nutrition.

 

COFN12: Understand nutrition considerations during throughout their life cycle
