Objective: 

This course will enable the students to :

  1. Be aware of present development in literature.
  2. Plan creative and leisure time activities for various age groups. 

Contents:

 

  1. Planning art and craft activities, story telling, puppet show for various age groups.
  2. Evaluating the material – Children’s magazines/ newspapers / stories/ dramatization/ creative activities - field testing.
  3. Creative writing/ translation and publishing– Features, articles, interview/  stories / letters/ rhyme for target group.     
  4. Preparation of kits & games which are developmentally appropriate  / in accord to interests .
