This course will enable the students to:

  • obtain harmony between pattern and design of the garment.
  • develop skill in garment construction.

Adaptations of bodice and  incorporation of  sleeves & collars in following garments   10 Hrs

a. Child`s

  • Yoked frock with gathers/ Pleats/ Flare/
  • A - Line Frock with pleats

                             

b. Boy`s-                                                                                                                    18Hrs                                                                                           

  • Bush Shirt
  • Shorts.

           

c. Women                                                                                                                  16 Hrs

  • Drafting of adult bodice block & its adaptation to      
  • Skirt Top
  • Saree Blouse,
  • Ladies Kameez/ Kurta,
  • Churidaar/ Salwar
