The students conducted the activity on Dusshera. They use flash cards to explain the cause of Dusshera celebration. Dussehra celebrates the Hindu god Rama's victory over the demon king Ravana and the triumph of good over evil. The epic Ramayana tells the story of the Lord Rama who wins the lovely Sita for his wife, only to have her carried off by Ravana, the demon king of Lanka. Ravana plays an important role in the Ramayana. The students presented it beautifully.

After the story telling, the students distributed the Ravana face drawn on colored sheets by the students themselves. All the children enjoyed the session on story and were very happy to get the gift.

Around 18 students and one teacher, Dr. NaliniTotuka visited the anganwadi. The story telling was done in 15 minutes and distribution was done in 15 minutes. The moral value behind the story that Ravana despite all the good qualities, was died because of greed. So, all the children very well understood the concept taught to them.
